Volumes

Persistent virtiofs storage that outlives any one sandbox, mounted at boot and billed until deleted.

A volume is persistent storage that outlives any one sandbox: a virtiofs export mounted into the guest at boot. Use volumes for data that must survive kills, pauses, and template changes, such as datasets, model weights, or build caches.

import { Volumes } from "@corevelos/sdk";
const volumes = new Volumes(client);
const vol = await volumes.create({ name: "datasets" });
const box = await Sandbox.create({
  template: "corevelos-base",
  volumeMounts: [{ name: "datasets", path: "/data" }],
});

List volumes with volumes.list() and inspect which sandboxes mount one with volumes.get(). Delete a volume and its data with volumes.delete(); deletion is refused while any sandbox mounts it, so read mountedBy from get first. The CLI mirrors this with volume create, volume list, and volume delete.

Retained volumes bill storage until deleted, independently of any sandbox. See Billing. Volumes belong to a project like every other resource.
